2 2.1 Membentang Alas Meja
i.
Meja makan boleh berbentuk bulat atau segi
empat sama.
ii.
Meja perlu dialas supaya suasana bilik lebih
meriah.
iii.
Alas meja boleh dilipat dengan dua cara,
iaitu lipatan skrin ( screen fold )
dan lipatan biasa ( concentina fold)
iv.
Alas meja perlu dibentangkan dengan cara yang
betul supaya kelihatan kemas.
v.
Setiap penjuru alas meja hendaklah menutupi
kaki meja dan labuh alas meja ialah dalam anggaran 30 cm hingga 40 cm di
sekeliling meja.
vi.
Bekas lipatan pada alas meja hendaklah berada
pada kedudukan yang sama arah atau selari di dalam ruang makan.
vii.
Elakkan dari mempamer bahagian alas meja yang
bertindih ke arah pintu masuk utama restoran.
